About Versace Group Pty Ltd

What we do as a parent company

Versace Group Pty Ltd is a privately held Australian technology company focused on building and operating software products. We handle the full lifecycle of our applications - from concept and design, to development, launch, and long-term maintenance.

Our role in the product ecosystem

Rather than acting as an agency or consultancy, Versace Group functions as a product studio. We own and operate our applications directly, which allows us to make long-term decisions purely in the interest of product quality and end-user experience.

Within the group, we manage:

  • Product strategy and roadmap planning
  • Design, engineering, and quality assurance
  • Cloud infrastructure, performance, and reliability
  • Privacy, security, and data protection practices
  • Compliance with platform guidelines (including Apple and Google)

Mission & focus areas

Our mission is to build practical digital tools that remove friction from everyday work and life. We focus on two main areas:

Small business operations

Helping small and medium-sized businesses handle invoicing, expenses, inventory, and reconciliation without needing a full finance team.

Fuel & transport data

Making fuel and EV pricing information easier to access so drivers can make informed decisions and reduce day-to-day costs.

Vision & Story

Built from real problems lived first-hand

Versace Group was founded on the idea that the most effective tools come from solving real day-to-day problems.

From personal need to shared tools

The products we build don’t start in a boardroom; they start in day-to-day life. The guiding idea behind Versace Group is simple: if a tool makes our own lives easier, it can probably help other people in the same position.

Over nearly two decades of running small businesses, Nathan experienced the same frustrations most owners do: complex software that felt like it was designed for accountants, not for people who are on the tools all day and only get to their admin at night.

BiziBud was first designed for Nathan himself - as a way to make invoicing, expenses, inventory and reconciliation actually manageable after long days of work. Once the system became something he relied on every day, the next step was obvious: refine it and share it with others who run their business the same way.

Identifying unmet needs in everyday life around the world

Whilst travelling overseas, Nathan noticed a familiar pattern: small and medium-sized business owners still doing everything with pen and paper. Invoices, stock, staff, even basic reconciliation were still being managed manually - often late at night at the kitchen table or in the back corner of a cafe or restaurant.

The opportunity was clear: bring automated, easy-to-use business tools to people who don’t have the time or appetite to fight with traditional enterprise systems, but still deserve the same level of control and visibility.

The same trips also highlighted how hard it can be for drivers to find fair fuel prices. Watching people drive across town for a few cents per litre - without reliable information - helped shape the early ideas for what eventually became GasTracker.

A vision that goes beyond software

Versace Group’s long-term vision is bigger than individual apps. The goal is to keep creating this kind of user-friendly software and technology, and eventually to build a physical hub where young business owners can:

  • Share their ideas and early-stage businesses
  • Access mentoring around product design and operations
  • Get support to design, develop, and launch their own tools and services

The same philosophy behind BiziBud and GasTracker - solving real problems with practical tools - will guide this future hub. The aim is to help the next generation of founders turn the ideas they see in their own lives into products that are genuinely useful for others.

Always grounded in everyday use

Whether it’s simplifying admin for small business owners, or helping drivers quickly find the right fuel or EV charging option, every product we build is grounded in everyday use:

  • Would we use this ourselves, daily, without frustration?
  • Does it actually save time, money, or stress?
  • Is it clear enough that someone can understand it at a glance?

If the answer isn’t “yes” to all of the above, we keep refining until it is. That’s the standard that guides Versace Group now and into the future.

How we work

Product principles that guide every release

As a parent company, Versace Group is responsible for ensuring that each product ships with the same baseline standards around quality, privacy, and reliability - while staying true to our vision of building tools we would happily use ourselves.

User-first decisions

We optimise for clear, honest interfaces and reduce unnecessary friction. If a feature makes a product more confusing, we re-think it - even if it is technically impressive.

Operational discipline

We treat our apps as long-term products, not one-off launches. This means ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and steady improvements over time.

Privacy & data care

We collect only the data we need to operate our services and improve them responsibly. Each product maintains its own privacy policy and terms, with oversight from Versace Group.

Platform compliance

We build with platform guidelines in mind from the start, including App Store and Google Play policies, and we maintain clear, up-to-date information about our company and products.

Founder

Meet the person behind Versace Group

Versace Group Pty Ltd was founded by Nathan Versace, who leads strategy, product direction, and day-to-day operations across the group’s apps.

Nathan Versace

Founder & Director, Versace Group Pty Ltd

Nathan founded Versace Group to create software products that solve real, practical problems without hiding behind jargon or unnecessary complexity. His work across BiziBud and GasTracker reflects a strong focus on clear interfaces, reliable infrastructure, and thoughtful day-to-day user experience.

After almost two decades running his own businesses, he experienced first-hand how hard it can be to stay on top of admin with tools that feel like they were built for someone else. BiziBud is the platform he wished existed when he was doing everything himself - designed initially for his own use, then refined and shared with other owners in the same position.

Travel played an important role in shaping his vision. Seeing business owners overseas still doing paperwork with pen and paper, and watching drivers hunt for affordable fuel without reliable data, reinforced the need for accessible, automated tools. Versace Group is his way of turning those observations into products - and, over time, into a broader hub that supports young founders in designing, developing, and launching their own ideas.
